French boatbuilder Jeanneau is stepping into the hospitality industry with the Sea Loft 480, a floating villa concept aimed at hotels and seaside resorts, set to make its debut at ITB Berlin in March 2026.
The Sea Loft 480 is designed to give coastal establishments a way to extend the guest experience onto the water, without the operational complexity of running a yacht. Uses range from day trips and evening outings through to exclusive overnight stays, all intended to slot into existing hotel operations.
Jeanneau Sales Director Antoine Chancelier says the move reflects a genuine shift in the sector. "Hospitality, particularly in seaside destinations, is in full transformation. Establishments are seeking to enrich the customer's experience while developing new revenue streams, beyond lodging. At Jeanneau, we have identified a natural convergence between our savoir-faire in the marine industry and these new expectations from the hospitality sector, and this is why Jeanneau is launching the Sea Loft line."
The practical appeal for hotel operators comes down to simplicity. "The objective is to offer a tool for the hotel industry, one that is simple to use and creates value, with a much simpler, more accessible maintenance than that of a yacht, for example," Chancelier adds.
Experiences aboard the Sea Loft can be taken à la carte or packaged, spanning private moments on the water and wellness at sea through to fully privatised days and exclusive events. The platform is designed to integrate with a hotel's existing standards and brand.
ITB Berlin was a deliberate choice of launch venue. "ITB Berlin is the international show for the travel and hospitality industry. This is the ideal place to present Sea Loft as a solution dedicated to hotels and to initiate concrete projects in big tourist destinations," said Chancelier.
The show runs from 3 to 5 March 2026, with the Sea Loft 480 displayed at the entrance and the Jeanneau team present at Hall 27, Stand 312.
