Jeanneau fleet nabs multiple nods across European boat awards

2 min read

Jeanneau has racked up a swathe of award nominations this year, with four powerboats and a new sailboat model shortlisted across some of the biggest honours in European marine industry circles.

The nominations span the European Powerboat of the Year (EPOTY), the 2026 Best Of Boats (BOB) awards, the British Yachting Awards for 2026, and the European Yacht of the Year (EYOTY) for 2027.

Leading the powerboat charge is the new Cap Camarat 6.0 CC, a fresh addition to the Cap Camarat line, nominated for European Powerboat of the Year 2026. The boat is an entirely redesigned day boat developed to offer a more contemporary experience at sea, and had its world premiere at the La Rochelle Boat Show. It features a new hull design, updated styling, and a modular layout intended to appeal to a broad range of boaties.

Three further Jeanneau models have been named finalists for the 2026 Best Of Boats awards, each in a different category. The Merry Fisher 1095 Flybridge is up for "Best for Family", the TH33 is nominated in "Best for Fun", and the Sea Loft 480 is in the running for "Best Electric".

On the sailing side, the new Sun Odyssey 455 has made a strong first impression internationally, picking up a nomination for European Yacht of the Year 2027. It has been designed for cruising with peace of mind, with a contemporary hull, an ergonomic deck plan, and a light-filled, modular saloon layout.

That recognition has carried across the Channel too. The Sun Odyssey 455 is also nominated for "Cruising Yacht of the Year" at the British Yachting Awards.

Winners of the EPOTY and EYOTY awards will be announced on 23 January 2027 at the Dusseldorf Boat Show. The Best Of Boats winners will be revealed on 26 November 2026 at the Berlin Boat Show, while the British Yachting Awards winners will be announced in the January edition of Sailing Today with Yachts & Yachting magazine.
