Jeanneau EX 34 Hardtop turns day trips into overnighters

1 min read

Jeanneau has unveiled the EX 34 Hardtop, a powerboat designed for owners who want a day on the water to stretch into an overnight escape. The model received its first detailed public showing at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

A walkthrough produced by BoatTEST.com in collaboration with Jeanneau America, and hosted by Captain Boomies, takes viewers through the boat from stern to bow. It highlights a layout built around flexible social spaces and practical, everyday features.

At the stern, a swim platform gives easy access to the water. The cockpit is designed for entertaining, with flexible seating, a dinette and a sunbed, plus a summer kitchen that keeps refreshments close at hand. Overhead protection provides shade without closing off the open-air feel.

The hardtop is central to the boat's versatility. It gives the helm station proper weather protection while still allowing an open-air connection to the water when conditions suit, and the helm area has been designed with intuitive controls and considered seating for comfortable cruising.

Secure walkaround decks lead forward to a bow lounge, giving guests another spot to sit back and take in the surroundings. Below deck, two cabins and a separate head compartment mean the EX 34 Hardtop is set up for genuine overnight stays, not just day trips.

Smaller practical touches feature throughout the design too, including storage solutions and boarding and docking features intended to make the boat easier to live with day to day.

The walkthrough frames the boat as one that combines the openness of a traditional day boat with the protection of a hardtop, giving owners the flexibility to stay out longer and adapt to changing weather without compromising comfort.
