Riviera has announced the world premiere of the 645 SUV Series II, five years after launching the original model. The new generation receives a comprehensive interior redesign, enhanced technology and several practical updates throughout the boat.
Buyers have three distinct layouts to choose from, a decision that shapes how the boat will actually be used. There's a four-stateroom version with a utility room and laundry facilities, a four-stateroom version with an optional crew cabin instead, fitted with a Pullman-style berth and a private adjacent day head, and a three-stateroom arrangement built around an optional lower lounge. Three bathrooms and a full-beam master suite feature across the range.

Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst frames the update as a refinement exercise rather than a wholesale rebuild, describing the interior work as delivering "an interior design and aesthetic that is both contemporary and timeless."
Outside, the water sports cockpit is where the entertaining hardware sits, with a wet bar and BBQ built into the space. The alfresco deck, laid in teak, runs its own separate bar with an icemaker, alongside a folding table and two folding chairs. Forward of that, the foredeck carries sunlounges and two removable teak tables, with a sun awning providing shade over the seating area. A pantograph door on the saloon's port side opens outward and sits flush when open, useful for anyone moving fore or aft along the side decks to handle lines or fenders.

The 645 SUV Series II sits at 21.23 metres length overall and has a 5.80 metres beam, with 6,500 litres of fuel and 800 litres of water on board. Dry weight is listed at around 38,869kg, and the boat sleeps eight. Riviera notes that specifications may change without notice.
Twin MAN diesels power the boat, available as either the V8 1300 or the V12 1550. Joystick control at both helms and in the cockpit assists with close-quarters manoeuvring, systems can be checked remotely through the Sentinel Marine App, and the house, auxiliary and starting batteries are all lithium-ion.
