Grand Banks is set to bring two of its most acclaimed models, the GB85 and the GB54, to the Newport International Boat Show, running 11–14 September in Newport, Rhode Island.
The centrepiece of the display will be the Grand Banks 85, a custom yacht sitting at the very top of the Long-Range Cruiser Series. The model reflects the brand's deliberate push into the large-yacht category, a move driven by owner appetite for greater space, increased capability, and uncompromising comfort aboard. Through that evolution, Grand Banks has maintained the efficiency, craftsmanship, and enduring design that have long defined the marque.
Alongside the Grand Banks 85 at the show will be the Grand Banks 54, a thoroughly contemporary take on a classic. Capable of reaching 30 knots with a range approaching 500 nautical miles at 21 knots, the GB54 strikes an unusually strong balance between speed and fuel efficiency across the full speed range. Built to be managed by a couple or even a single-handed skipper, it brings both confidence at the helm and genuine comfort on passage.
