Race World Offshore has signed Maximum Inflation, the tyre inflation brand produced by Leland Gas Technologies, as livestream sponsor for the offshore powerboat series.
The company's core business is making steel gas cartridges, a technology that turns up in a surprising range of products. Life jackets, draft beer systems, paintball markers and tyre inflation kits all rely on the same basic mechanism.
Its newest product, the Maximus Instant Tire Filling Kit, pairs a US-made high pressure valve with gas cartridges, housed in a tactical zipper case built to military-grade standards.
Leland Gas Technologies says the kit is engineered to last, with a 20-year shelf life and the ability to work in rain, snow and mud. The company pitches it as an heirloom product, built to be passed down rather than replaced.
For offshore racing fans, reliability is the operative word. Breakdowns and mechanical failures are part of the sport's drama, and a sponsor built around dependable, go-anywhere gear fits neatly with a series whose boats and equipment are pushed to their limits on open water.
There's no NZ connection in this particular announcement. Still, Kiwi offshore fans watching the livestream will now see Maximum Inflation branding woven through the broadcast coverage, in a season where sponsors have been piling on around the series' marquee events, including the Key West World Championship, where a trio of Key West properties has already confirmed its return for 2026.
The deal adds another name to the growing list of technical and lifestyle brands backing Race World Offshore's international broadcast product, part of the series' push to expand its commercial presence around the livestream platform.
