French skipper Delerce claims Finland match racing crown

1 min read

French skipper Ange Delerce has won the 2026 NJK Open Spring Cup in Finland, a Grade 2 event on the World Match Racing Tour.

Delerce, sailing with crew Camille Pfaff, Aristide Girou, Jean Picard and Sylvestre De Giuli Morghen, took the victory.

The World Match Racing Tour, founded in 2000, is the longest-running professional series in sailing. It carries "Special Event" status from World Sailing, the sport's governing body, and the sailor who tops the standings each year is crowned World Sailing Match Racing World Champion.

Since 2000, the Tour and its events have awarded more than USD24 million in prize money, funding that has helped build the careers of many of today's professional sailors.
