K-Challenge, the French challenger for the 38th America's Cup to be held in Naples, Italy, in spring/summer 2027, is seeking a junior sailmaker or canvas maker to join the team from September 2026 to July 2027.
The role sits within the sails team alongside senior sailmakers and sail designers. Day-to-day work covers three main areas: servicing and updating current sails ready for the next day, producing new sails, and making covers and canvas items as required by the team.
Candidates should have a couple of years of experience in either sailmaking or canvas work. English is considered a plus given the multinational nature of the team. K-Challenge is looking for someone who is curious, a hard worker, and a quick learner.
The position is full-time on a fixed-term contract, based in Naples. Rate depends on experience.
