Sydney-based importer Eyachts has secured exclusive rights to represent VanDutch Yachts across Australia and New Zealand, establishing a dedicated retail operation called VanDutch Centre Sydney to handle sales, after-sales care, and technical servicing across both countries.
The brand is already gaining a foothold in local waters. A VanDutch 56 is currently en route to Victoria, joining several other VanDutch models that have been operating in Australian waters for some time.
The Dutch-designed powerboat brand has built a strong international following on the strength of a distinctive aesthetic: a low, sleek profile underpinned by a restrained design philosophy that puts the on-water experience at its core. That visual identity was developed in the Netherlands and has remained a consistent thread throughout the brand's history. A significant chapter opened in 2020 when Italian shipyard Cantiere del Pardo acquired VanDutch Yachts, bringing it into a facility with considerable build heritage and engineering depth while keeping the original design language firmly in place.
For Eyachts, the new appointment builds naturally on an existing relationship with the same shipyard. The company has been the Australasian representative for Cantiere del Pardo's Pardo Yachts range since 2019, meaning both brands produced by the Italian yard now fall within the same regional distribution network.
Eyachts founder Peter Hrones describes the move as a clear progression: "Our success with Cantiere del Pardo and Pardo Yachts has shown what is possible when you combine strong shipyard relationships with the right market strategy. VanDutch is the next step in that evolution for us in Australia and New Zealand."
The shipyard's leadership was equally direct about the decision to extend Eyachts' scope. Cantiere del Pardo CEO Marcello Veronesi said: "They have demonstrated a deep understanding of the Australian market with Pardo Yachts. We are pleased to extend their representation to include VanDutch in the region."
Eyachts has developed its business around a carefully selected group of European marques, and VanDutch fits well with that approach. The brand brings an established global profile and a look that tends to generate its own interest at boat shows without much prompting.
Joe Fox, Eyachts VanDutch Manager, believes the brand reflects where buyer priorities are shifting at the premium end of the local market: "VanDutch represents exactly where we see premium boating heading in Australia, toward experience-focused ownership. It is more than a boat; it is a statement of lifestyle and aesthetic."
Eyachts will display the VanDutch range at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, running from 21 to 24 May 2026.
