ePropulsion adds compact E100 lithium battery to its E-Series lineup

A new battery has joined ePropulsion's E-Series lineup, with the E100 sitting alongside the existing E60 and E163 models.

The E100 uses Lithium Iron Phosphate chemistry and delivers 5,120 watt-hours of capacity from a 48V unit that stands just 240mm tall. That low-profile form factor is designed to fit beneath seating or inside confined compartments, with removable decorative trim and a dedicated mounting bracket offering further installation flexibility.

The battery is compatible with ePropulsion's Spirit, Navy, and Pod Drive electric motor lineups, covering motors from 1 to 6 kW. Two E100 units connected in series create a 96V configuration capable of charging in under two hours, a pairing that also supports the X12, I10, and Pod Drive 12 motors. Up to 16 units can be connected in parallel to scale overall capacity.

Construction is all-metal, rated weather-resistant, impact-resistant, and drop-proof. An integrated Battery Management System handles safety monitoring, while real-time State of Charge readouts keep users informed underway.

Long-term durability is rated at up to 3,000 charge cycles while maintaining 80% State of Health. The E100 also supports integration with third-party gateways for onboard energy management and system monitoring.
