Coastguard New Zealand has released the full results for its Summer Lottery 124, with all prize draws conducted on 13 February 2026 under Police supervision.
The headline prize was a package valued at $225,000, combining a Ford Ranger Hybrid Stormtrak with a Haines Hunter SF545 and a selection of boating safety equipment. That top package went to ticket number 114231, held by someone from Whangārei.
Second prize, a Haines Hunter SF545 valued at $98,000, was claimed by ticket number 35600 from Kaitaia. Third prize, a Croatia river cruise with a $30,000 cash alternative on offer, went to ticket number 80566 from Ōtāhuhu. A Cook Islands holiday with a cash option valued at $20,000 made up fourth prize, won by ticket number 103718 from Whitianga, while fifth prize, a Samsung TV package valued at $6,000, went to ticket number 20231 from Raumati Beach.
Beyond the top five, the draw also produced two Apple prize winners and five Prezzy card winners. A number of additional prizes were distributed across supporter categories, including an autobuyer cash prize, a founders prize, and a unit sales prize.
The lottery is one of the ways Coastguard New Zealand funds the vessels, equipment, and volunteer crews it relies on to respond to incidents across the country's waterways. The organisation also took the opportunity to recognise the volunteers who gave their time to sell tickets within their local communities.
Anyone who purchased a ticket can check their number against the full published list to confirm whether they are a winner. Coastguard is also promoting its next Captain's Club Premium Lottery for those interested in entering another major prize draw.
