Carlo Borlenghi, one of sailing's most gifted photographers, has died. He was 69.
For more than four decades, Borlenghi worked at the cutting edge of sailing photography, capturing the drama and pageantry of the world's greatest regattas in a unique and compelling way. His artistry and intimate personal understanding of the sport set the gold standard.
His association with the America's Cup stands as one of the achievements that set him apart. His work is deeply embedded in the history of the Cup, forming an enduring record of some of the greatest moments in the history of the sport.
Ernesto Bertarelli, Tudor Team Alinghi, paid tribute.
