Burling sits out Abu Dhabi practice with finger injury as Mackay steps up to drive

Peter Burling has been ruled out of Thursday's practice session in Abu Dhabi after injuring his right index finger. The Black Foils skipper sustained the injury on Wednesday while inspecting a misfiring daggerboard on the team's F50.

Burling was taken to a local medical centre, where he was assessed and treated, and is now recovering. The team has confirmed the injury is not serious, but he will stand down from Thursday's sailing as a precaution.
