Black Foils grinder Louis Sinclair stable after suffering compound leg fractures in collision

The Black Foils have named the crew member hospitalised following the serious collision between their boat, Amokura, and the French team during racing earlier today.

Louis Sinclair, a grinder for the Black Foils, is in a stable condition at Auckland Hospital after sustaining injuries to both legs in the incident. He is receiving treatment for compound fractures to both legs, with the team confirming his condition remains stable.

The Black Foils thanked everyone who has sent messages of support since the collision. The team also extended a special thank you to the medical staff involved in responding to the crash and in the subsequent treatment of all athletes affected.
