After three gruelling days on the Mediterranean, the Ocean Race Europe 2025 fleet arrived in Nice this morning, completing a leg from Cartagena that delivered everything from windless patches to a savage 70-knot storm before the final push north.
Paul Meilhat's Biotherm was first across the line, finishing in 2 days, 16 hours, 12 minutes, and 14 seconds and crossing at 05:12:14 UTC. The French team have been a model of consistency throughout the event, and this latest win extends their unbeaten run while adding another full points haul to their overall lead.

Rosalin Kuiper's Holcim-PRB made Biotherm work hard for much of the passage, the two boats trading blows along Mallorca's north coast before the Swiss-flagged IMOCA crossed just over two hours after the leaders to secure second. The result cements their reputation as the strongest challenger in the fleet.

Third place went to Italy's Allagrande Mapei Racing, skippered by Ambrogio Beccaria. The podium finish drew a warm reception from spectators along the Mediterranean shores, making it a popular result for the home crowd.

Paprec Arkéa came home fourth after 2 days, 18 hours, and 21 minutes of racing, with Boris Herrmann's Team Malizia close behind in fifth, clocking 2 days, 18 hours, and 42 minutes on the water.
The leg tested every crew with punishing heat, repeated headsail changes as conditions shifted, and a violent 70-knot storm in the closing miles. With Biotherm firmly at the top of the leaderboard, the chasing pack will be well aware that the window to close the gap is narrowing fast.
