Seven Aquila models gathered at a single marina, three carrying debut status: the Aquila display at this year's Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, running 21–24 May at Marina F Pier, is the largest collection of the brand ever assembled on Australian shores. Whitehaven Marine, Aquila's official dealer for Australia and New Zealand, has put the line-up together, and its scope reflects the momentum the brand has built across this region.
The most significant newcomer is the 50 Sail, Aquila's first sailing model, now making its Asia-Pacific debut at Sanctuary Cove after launching earlier this year at the Miami International Boat Show. Grounded in the same catamaran expertise that defines Aquila's power range, the 50 Sail is engineered to maximise space, functionality, cruising comfort, and build quality. A bridge-to-bow walkway makes movement between the flybridge and foredeck cockpit straightforward, while a fixed bow entertaining area and well-appointed salon and galley complete the living spaces. Advanced composite construction and rigorous quality control define the build throughout, and buyers may configure the boat with four, five, or six cabins, each with private entrances. Propulsion choices run from diesel engines to the whisper-quiet Hybrid Ocean Drive™, accommodating a range of cruising preferences.
The 46 Yacht is also making its Asia-Pacific debut, arriving as winner of the Yacht Style Awards 2026 Power Catamaran 12–16m category. Built in an Explorer style with high freeboard and a commanding presence, the 46 Yacht pairs bold aesthetics with serious offshore capability. Long-range cruising, generous living spaces, and confident twin-hull performance sit at its core, and a 23'3" beam produces an interior volume that feels notably spacious for a yacht of this length. The layout balances private retreats against shared social areas throughout. In common with others in the Yacht range, the 46 Yacht features Aquila's foam-cored bulbous bow, which generates additional lift at the forward section of the hull, enhancing stability and significantly reducing hobby horsing when conditions turn choppy.
The third debut belongs to the 42 Coupe, appearing in Australia for the first time. Conceived to push cruising catamarans in a new direction, it brings together the comforts of a closed-saloon yacht and the pace and responsiveness of a sporty dayboat. Two cabins sit within each hull, offering privacy and flexibility across both day trips and overnight use. The 42 Coupe also incorporates Aquila's Hydro Glide® foil system, which delivers 40% greater fuel efficiency compared with traditional monohulls.
Beyond the three debuts, the display takes in the complete Aquila Yacht range, one of the brand's most popular product lines.
Heading that range is the 54 Yacht, winner of the Multihull of the Year Award in 2021. Designed around long-range cruising, entertaining, and onboard comfort, the 54 Yacht carries a 25'2" beam that provides unmatched stability. Its panoramic salon opens to the cockpit through sliding doors, and the flybridge serves as a social hub with multiple seating areas and a wet bar. Layout options span 3, 4, and 5 cabins, with full beam master, skipper quarters, and galley-down configurations all available.
The 50 Yacht shares the Explorer aesthetic and commanding high freeboard of the 46 Yacht, presenting an equally striking profile with refined finishes throughout. Its expansive flybridge suits al fresco entertaining well, and the standard 3-cabin layout includes a single-level, full-beam master cabin that compares favourably with what one would expect on considerably larger yachts.
The most compact model in the Yacht range is the award-winning 42 Yacht, which delivers exceptional space and comfort within a more intimate package. A 21'0" beam produces a bright salon that connects directly to the aft cockpit, and three distinct alfresco entertainment areas alongside a full galley give the boat a capability and versatility that sit well beyond its size, making it a capable companion for extended time on the water.
Completing Whitehaven Marine's Sanctuary Cove line-up is the 32 Sport, powered by twin Mercury Verado V6 225HP engines and offering a stable 12'8" beam. Nimble and high-energy, it accommodates up to 22 passengers on a deck layout that shifts readily between sunning platform and social gathering space. An appointed cabin adds genuine overnight capability, which remains a real rarity in this size class.
