Aquila Catamarans picked up two international honours within a single week, with the 50 Sail earning the International Multihull Show Premiere award at the Multihull of the Year awards, and the 46 Yacht taking out the Power Catamaran 12-16m category at the 2026 Yacht Style Awards.
The Yacht Style Awards ceremony was held on April 22 at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, with entries spread across 35 categories. Judges chose the 46 Yacht for its ability to deliver the comfort typically associated with a considerably larger vessel onto a twin-hull platform without compromising versatility. The 46 Yacht succeeds the long-running 44 Yacht, stretching two feet longer and two feet wider while preserving the defining characteristics of the flybridge series. A cockpit bar, flybridge-to-foredeck stairs, and a full-beam owner's suite all carry through to the new model, each refined in the process. The master cabin and its open bathroom drew specific praise from judges, as did the multi-zone flybridge and the optional Aquila Hydro Glide foil system.
The result also means Aquila has taken back-to-back titles in the same Yacht Style Award category, following the 46 Coupe's victory in the equivalent class in 2025.
At the Multihull of the Year awards, the 50 Sail claimed the International Multihull Show Premiere award after making its public debut at the Miami International Boat Show 2026. Judges cited its innovative design and ergonomics as a bold step into the sailing market for the brand.

Built with serious offshore cruising in mind, the 46 Yacht pairs an Explorer-style aesthetic with advanced composite construction. A foam-cored bulbous bow helps reduce pitching when conditions turn choppy, while a 23'3" beam generates a substantial amount of interior volume. The aft cockpit connects to the salon, creating a natural flow between indoor and outdoor entertaining spaces, and buyers can select from four and five cabin layout configurations.
The 50 Sail was developed in collaboration with design partners J&J Design, with space, comfort, and practicality central to the brief across four, five, or six cabin arrangements. A dedicated bow cockpit provides a social gathering point at the forward end of the boat, with bridge-to-bow access running throughout. Power options include diesel engines or the Hybrid Ocean Drive, which adds silent electric capability when at anchor.
