Anura's presence at this year's Auckland Boat Show was the company's most ambitious yet, with the complete amphibious system range on display from the compact S15 all the way through to the newly introduced S75. It was an unusually complete picture of what the company offers, all in a single setting.
The centrepiece of the stand was a working demonstration of Anura's EOH (Electric Over Hydraulic) system, with multiple wheel assemblies displayed alongside it to show how the range steps up from MP (Medium Power) through to HP (High Power) configurations. Having those components together in one place gave the demonstration a physical immediacy that specifications or photographs alone rarely convey, allowing visitors to grasp the differences in scale and capability at a glance.
What distinguished this show was the quality of the conversations it generated. From the opening morning, a significant proportion of visitors had arrived with more than a passing interest. Many already had a solid grounding in amphibious technology and were there to work through the specifics of integrating a system into a project they had already begun thinking about seriously. That preparedness meant discussions could bypass the introductory stages and move quickly into the practical detail of application, performance, and real-world integration challenges.
Displaying the full system range side by side paid dividends in exactly that kind of exchange. Where size and power comparisons can easily become lost in abstract description, the Anura team could simply point to the hardware in front of them, cutting through to the substance of each conversation far more efficiently.
The broader amphibious sector also showed up in force. Haines Hunter, Smuggler, FC Boats, Stryda, and Family Boats were all present, each offering a distinct perspective on amphibious craft and the systems underpinning them. Feedback from those manufacturing partners aligned closely with what Anura observed across its own stand, with several reporting a solid pipeline of prospective purchases building through the event.
Positioned in a well-trafficked part of the venue, the stand drew consistent interest throughout the show. The combination of live system demonstrations, tangible hardware, and a knowledgeable team on hand meant engagement tended to be purposeful and sustained rather than the passing curiosity a busy show floor can otherwise produce.
For Anura, the event reinforced the value of presenting depth over breadth, and the readiness of visitors to engage seriously with the subject matter made the full-range format a natural fit.
