Tudor Team Alinghi is making the most of the Bay of Naples, banking hours on the water and hard data as it prepares for the second Preliminary Regatta of the 38th America's Cup.
Less than a fortnight from racing, the team has set up its second training camp at Nisida, near Naples, putting the AC40 through its paces.
"We've had a solid few days so far. The shore crews have worked hard over the summer to improve the performance of our AC40, and the initial signs are that we have made positive steps in a number of areas," said Dave Endean, Team Director, Technical & Sailing.
The regatta gives Tudor Team Alinghi its next chance to measure its progress against the rest of the America's Cup fleet.
Racing gets underway on Friday, 25 September, following an official practice day and opening ceremony the day before, Thursday, 24 September.
