Absolute Yachts has introduced the Navetta 50 Calypso, a compact motoryacht built to offer genuine autonomy and a thoroughly modern cruising experience without sacrificing the qualities that define the Navetta line. The vessel sits within the brand's Generation 2026 collection as one of three models, bringing owner-operable capability to a format that retains the hallmarks of the range without compromise.
The Navetta 50 draws its name from the mythological figure Calypso, a symbol of allure and independence, and that inspiration runs through the design from end to end. Contemporary styling is paired with generously proportioned interior volumes and a suite of advanced onboard systems, producing a yacht that can be handled short-handed or used comfortably to host friends and family, without demanding specialist knowledge to operate.
Owner operation has shaped every aspect of the layout. The helm station is logically arranged, a side access door on the main deck simplifies coming and going, and circulation routes throughout the vessel have been kept clear and intuitive. The vertical stern profile contributes to a more practical cockpit and allows straightforward access to the swim platform. Modular furnishings give each space the ability to shift quickly between social and private configurations, depending on what the moment calls for.
The flybridge stands out as one of the Navetta 50's most compelling features. Rather than dividing the space into separate zones, it has been conceived as a single-level, open-air living area running from bow to stern. A generous dining space occupies part of this deck, while a fully equipped bar incorporating a refrigerator, ice maker and barbecue provides everything needed for extended time on the water. Guest seating positioned alongside the helm means companions can share in the experience of being underway. Below, the saloon connects to the cockpit through large opening glass surfaces, reinforcing the relationship between inside and out.
Accommodation below deck centres on a forward owner's cabin fitted with sea level windows, a diagonally positioned bed and substantial storage. The layout also includes a spacious VIP cabin, a twin guest cabin and a flexible single cabin, offering practical sleeping arrangements for a variety of configurations.
The Navetta 50 Calypso will make its world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival, running from 8 to 13 September 2026. It will appear alongside the Navetta 66 Aurora and the Navetta 58 Andromeda, presenting the complete Generation 2026 range to the public for the first time.
