The 696 Xpedition is Extreme Boats' latest move into the amphibious market, built on the award-winning Game King platform. Rather than starting from scratch, the design takes that offshore-proven Game King foundation and integrates full amphibious capability into it, creating a vessel that can launch, retrieve, and reach locations no conventional trailer boat could manage.
At 8.10 metres overall, the 696 Xpedition is a substantial craft. Its 20-degree deadrise hull carries over directly from the Game King lineage, preserving the rough-water credentials the platform has built its reputation on. The construction spec makes the offshore intent clear: transom and hull plating run to 8mm, while the sides and deck come in at 4mm.
A 2.42-metre beam keeps the package within trailerable limits, so owners give up nothing in road practicality for what they gain on the water. A recommended 250hp outboard draws from a 260-litre fuel tank, giving the boat the range required for extended day trips and coastal adventures well beyond the reach of a ramp-dependent vessel.
That independence from boat ramps sits at the heart of what the 696 Xpedition offers.
