Racing Group A's Race 4 delivered the clearest picture yet of where this division actually stands. Line honours continued to follow their established pattern, but the handicap results exposed just how little separates the top boats once the numbers are applied.
Wired was first across the line in 2 hours 1 minute 13 seconds, more than eight minutes clear of Equilibrium and over 13 minutes ahead of Georgia One. The TP52 remains in a class of its own on elapsed time, setting a pace the rest of the fleet can only chase.
LINE HONOURS TABLE
| Result | Boat Name | Skipper | Elapsed Time | Score |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Wired | Rob and Brett Bassett and Russell | 02:01:13 | 1 |
| 2 | Equilibrium | Graham Matthews | 02:09:50 | 2 |
| 3 | Explore Racing | William Goodfellow | 02:14:44 | 3 |
| 4 | Georgia One | John Muir | 02:27:01 | 4 |
Corrected time under EHF told an entirely different story. Equilibrium converted its race into a win with a corrected time of 2 hours 13 minutes 51 seconds, but the gaps behind were almost impossibly small. Georgia One came home in second, just two minutes and 44 seconds adrift. Wired was third, a mere two seconds further back, with Explore Racing following eight seconds after that. Three boats covered by eight seconds after more than 120 minutes on the water is about as compressed as racing gets.
EHF TABLE (USING THE FIRST CORRECTED TIME SET PROVIDED)
| Result | Boat Name | Skipper | Corrected Time | Score |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Equilibrium | Graham Matthews | 02:13:51 | 1 |
| 2 | Georgia One | John Muir | 02:16:35 | 2 |
| 3 | Wired | Rob and Brett Bassett and Russell | 02:16:37 | 3 |
| 4 | Explore Racing | William Goodfellow | 02:16:45 | 4 |
PHRF tightened the field even further. Equilibrium claimed the win again, but Wired was within 62 seconds, and Georgia One a further 18 seconds behind that. Explore Racing sat five minutes back yet remained a meaningful part of the overall contest.
PHRF TABLE (USING THE SECOND CORRECTED TIME SET PROVIDED)
| Result | Boat Name | Skipper | Corrected Time | Score |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Equilibrium | Graham Matthews | 02:12:18 | 1 |
| 2 | Wired | Rob and Brett Bassett and Russell | 02:13:20 | 2 |
| 3 | Georgia One | John Muir | 02:13:38 | 3 |
| 4 | Explore Racing | William Goodfellow | 02:18:38 | 4 |
A clear pattern has now emerged. Wired owns elapsed time, but the handicap battle is wide open. Equilibrium's Race 3 bounce back has proved no fluke, the boat again finding a way to turn its race plan into points. Georgia One keeps banking consistent, low-risk results. Explore Racing remains close to the front of the handicap fight but is still searching for the small step change that would bring it fully into contention.

Beyond Vixen Racing's earlier DNS, the fleet has settled without further attrition, and Racing Group A now has the feel of a precision contest. The margins are fine enough that mistakes will matter more than moments of brilliance. Vixen is expected back on the water tomorrow.
